Larvikite Pendant

Larvikite:  Sometimes referred to as black Labradorite, it is a different crystal only found in Larvik, Norway.  It is associated with the Root Chakra and is thus used for grounding, bringing clarity of thought, aiding meditation, and psychic protection. It was often carried by travelers to prevent accidents and to dispel negative energy from strangers that were encountered along the way.
